About PDF Merge

Combine PDF files in the order you choose. Pages are copied without rendering them into images, so existing selectable text remains selectable. Add up to 20 files, each under 50MB, reorder the files, then download the combined document. Encrypted PDFs are rejected because this tool cannot decrypt their contents; use an unencrypted copy. Large batches may exceed your device's available memory. Document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, and digital signatures may not be preserved. Processing happens in your browser, and your original files are unchanged.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — merging happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your files never leave your device.

You can reorder whole files using the up/down arrows before merging — the final PDF follows the file order shown in the list. Reordering individual pages within a file isn't supported yet.

Page content is copied without rasterizing or recompressing it. Document-level features such as forms, bookmarks, and signatures may not be preserved.

Encrypted PDFs often can't be read correctly in the browser and will show an error when added. Remove the password first using a PDF editor, then merge.

Up to 20 files, 50MB each. Larger files risk running out of memory in the browser tab.

Some PDFs use encryption for printing or editing restrictions even when no open password is required. This tool rejects encrypted files rather than risking unreadable copied content. Export an unencrypted copy from your PDF editor first.
