About Image to PDF Converter

Our Image to PDF tool converts JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF images into a single PDF entirely in your browser, using the jsPDF library — no file is ever uploaded to a server. Each image is placed on its own A4 page (210×297mm) and auto-scaled within a margin to fit the page while preserving its aspect ratio. One thing worth knowing: every image is re-encoded as JPEG at 92% quality before being embedded, regardless of its original format — so a transparent PNG (a logo with no background, for example) will have that transparency flattened onto a solid background, since JPEG has no transparency channel. For anything without transparency, 92% JPEG quality keeps visible loss minimal while keeping the output file size reasonable. This is useful for creating photo albums, combining scanned documents into one file, compiling a portfolio, or submitting image-based assignments as a single PDF.

Frequently Asked Questions

The tool accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF as input, but every image is re-encoded to JPEG internally before being embedded in the PDF.

There is no hard limit, but very large numbers of high-resolution images may be slow due to browser memory constraints. 20-30 images is typically fast.

No, everything happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device.

The PDF uses A4 format (210×297mm). Each image is scaled to fit within the page while maintaining its aspect ratio.

Remove any unwanted images and re-add them in your desired order.

No — every image is converted to JPEG (which has no transparency channel) before being embedded, so transparent areas get flattened onto a solid background. If you need transparency preserved, converting that specific image to PDF isn't the right tool for it.
