About Coordinate Weather Forecast

This tool loads a short-range forecast for a latitude and longitude that you type in decimal degrees, for example 12.9716 and 77.5946 for Bengaluru (a button fills those in). Latitude must be between -90 and 90 and longitude between -180 and 180. Coordinates are rounded to four decimal places, roughly 10 metres, and sent to UtilZilla's own forecast endpoint, which fetches data from MET Norway's Locationforecast service and caches it, so repeated requests for the same point are cheap and polite to the provider. The data is released under CC BY 4.0 and the page credits MET Norway. The table shows the first 24 available forecast periods, with time in UTC, temperature in degrees Celsius, wind speed in metres per second, relative humidity in percent and the rain or snow expected over the following hour in millimetres, or Not available when the model gives none. A line above the table shows when the model was last updated. This is modelled forecast data for a grid point, not an observation from a nearby weather station, so local conditions such as hills, coasts and city heat can differ. Because the data comes from an external service and is cached, it may be slightly behind. Your coordinates are visible to the hosting provider and are not used for browser geolocation. You can download the result as JSON.

  4. Convert times to your own time zone as needed, or press Download result JSON to keep the data.

The table shows the first 24 available forecast periods from the model's latest run, with the update time displayed above. It is a short-range view, not a long-range outlook or a seasonal prediction.

Temperature is in degrees Celsius, wind speed in metres per second, humidity in percent and next-hour precipitation in millimetres. All times are in UTC, so convert them to your local time before planning around them.

Yes. Rounded coordinates are sent to UtilZilla's forecast endpoint, visible to the hosting provider, and forwarded to MET Norway. The tool does not ask for browser geolocation, so it never reads your position unless you type it.

No. It is a model forecast for a grid point, not an observation. Terrain, coastlines and urban effects can make real local weather differ from the numbers. Use official local warnings for safety decisions.

Look it up in any map service and copy the decimal coordinates, usually shown as two numbers such as 12.9716, 77.5946. Use negative values for south latitude and west longitude. Degrees-minutes-seconds must be converted first.
