Duplicate Line Remover
Remove duplicate lines from a list or block of text, then optionally sort the result.
About Duplicate Line Remover
Paste any list — email addresses, URLs, log entries, CSV rows, or plain text — and this tool strips out duplicate lines while preserving the order of first occurrence by default. You can choose whether comparison is case-sensitive, whether to trim leading/trailing whitespace before comparing, and whether to remove empty lines entirely. Once deduplicated, sort the result alphabetically (A-Z or Z-A) or by line length instead of keeping the original order. It's a fast way to clean up lists before importing them elsewhere.
Frequently Asked Questions
By default, no — the tool preserves the original order, keeping each line the first time it appears. Use the Sort dropdown if you want alphabetical or length-based ordering instead.
When case-sensitive is on, "Apple" and "apple" are treated as different lines. Turn it off to treat them as duplicates.
Yes, enable "Remove empty lines" to strip out all blank lines in addition to deduplicating.
